Meet our Elm Grove Preschool Family!
Ms. Jenna
Ms. Jenna is our director. She has a degree in human development from UW-Madison and a certification in special education from UW-Milwaukee. She was a special education teacher before coming to Elm Grove Preschool full-time in June 2019. Outside of school, Miss Jenna loves to make cakes, read, and spend time on the water.
Ms. Erica
Ms. Erica has worked at Elm Grove Preschool since 1996. She was our 4K teacher for 22 years, and began working in the office as an assistant director in 2020. Ms. Erica has an associate's degree in early childhood growth and development from WCTC. The staff at Elm Grove Preschool have become a second family to her. She loves spending time with her two young adult children, reading, going to the beach and traveling.
Mr. Rick
I thank my mother, our founder, for getting me involved in this wonderful vocation. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, I spent 7 years in corporate America. Shortly before her retirement, my mom asked if I would like to help take over the family business. I said "NO!" That was 31 years ago! I partnered with my sister Jean, who retired in 2020 after 38 years! What a fun and rewarding ride this has been! We now have customers who are former preschool graduates, who send their own children here. I know we are succeeding in our mission when I look around everyday and see the learning that is taking place, hear the laughter and see the smiles on our children's faces!
Ms. Miranda
Ms. Miranda works in our toddler room, big kid room, and anywhere else we need her! She has worked in childcare since 2017. She is also the mother to a 4 year old boy. In her free time she loves being outdoors and spending time with her son. She plans to go back to school in the near future to gain a degree in special education. She is very grateful for the opportunity to be working with young children here at Elm Grove Preschool!
Ms. Bonnie
Miss Bonnie has been working in our baby room for close to 30 years! She started here when her children were young and attended our preschool and child care. Her youngest is now a teacher at Elm Grove too!
Miss Lauren is Miss Bonnie's daughter. She works mainly in the baby room, but will help out wherever she is needed! Lauren is also a student at WCTC, studying Human Relations.

Ms. Nancy
After receiving a B.S. in Exceptional Education from UW-Milwaukee, marrying, and having two children, Ms. Nancy enrolled her almost 3-year-old in the preschool program at Elm Grove. Two weeks later, she began working here and also enrolling her 20-month-old daughter. Almost 30 years later, it has been a joy for Ms. Nancy nurturing and being a part of the development of so many in her care in the baby room! In her spare time, Ms. Nancy enjoys long walks, reading, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Ms. Jo
Ms. Jo came to Elm Grove to work in the baby room in 2004 after retiring from teaching in Elmbrook Schools for 35 years. She's still here after 19 years because she loves children! Ms. Jo has five of her own kids and six grandkids. She also loves working with the other great teachers.
Ms. Angie
Ms. Angie worked in our toddler room when she started at Elm Grove in 2014. In 2021, she moved into our Young 2's room and is loving it! She loves watching little ones explore the world, and seeing their fun personalities develop. Ms. Angie loves learning about different cultures, and enjoyed spending 3 years in Romania and 3 months in Zambia. She has a cat named Lola who never leaves her side!
Ms. Gabby
Ms. Gabby works in our toddler room and our 3-4s room. She loves watching the children grow and learn new things! In her free time, she loves hiking with her daughter and her dog.
Ms. Kate
Ms. Kate was our 2-3's teacher starting in 2014. She now has a son, Bartosz, and has transitioned to working in the 3-4s room. The moment she walked into the building, (through the wrong door of course) for her interview, she felt right at home! She has a bachelor's degree in music from The Music Academy in Katowice (Poland) and also from CCPA at Roosevelt University in Chicago. If you hear the keyboard and children singing, it is for sure coming from her room! As an educator and musician, she believes that music supports many aspects of learning, and most importantly, makes learning fun! Miss Kate plays piano, cello, and church organ in one of the Catholic Parishes in Milwaukee.
Ms. Rachel
Ms. Rachel was a kindergarten teacher in Korea and came to the U.S. in 2008. She has a masters degree in Early Childhood Education and in Early Childhood Special Education from Concordia University. She loves to motivate children to learn through play, art, music, and more so that each child reaches his or her potential. When she is not at school, she goes everywhere with her two energetic sons! She loves doing Taekwondo, learning violin, and going to museums and other new places.
Ms. Stacey
Ms. Stacey has been working at Elm Grove Preschool for 27 years. She has a bachelor's degree in education from UW-Whitewater and is our 3K teacher. She has three children: two daughters and a son who all attended preschool here! Her daughters, Ms. Haley and Ms. Sydney, have both worked here at Elm Grove Preschool! She and her husband also own a choose and cut Christmas tree farm which keeps her quite busy in November and December. Ms. Stacey loves to travel to watch her children play their various sports. Her favorite thing about working here is that she learns just as much from the children as they learn from her.
Ms. Ana
Ms. Ana is one of our newest teachers and started working in spring of 2024!
Ms. Joy
Ms. Joy has over 15 years of teaching experience! She loves to learn, and continuously takes classes at UW-Platteville and UW-Whitewater. Ms. Joy likes to include lots of fun and hands-on learning in her 4K classroom and looks forward to helping children be proud of their accomplishments throughout the year. Ms. Joy is a mom to two adopted children and loves spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling. Her favorite thing so far is how welcoming everyone has been - she feels right at home!
Ms. Joyce
Ms. Joyce has been working here at Elm Grove for 20 years. She works mostly in the 4-5s and young 2's rooms. She loves her Elm Grove family; she says we have the "best staff ever!" Ms. Joyce is married with five sons and thirteen grandkids.
Ms. Monica
Ms. Monica has worked at Elm Grove Preschool since 2015. She started in our toddler room but later moved upstairs to our preschool classes!
Ms. Mya
Ms. Mya is a graduate of Elm Grove Preschool! She is currently a student at WCTC where she is studying the Fundamentals of Education. When she is not in class, she can be found in our toddler room. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and hanging out with friends.
Ms. Karly
Ms. Karly is one of our newest teachers and starting working with us in spring of 2024!
Ms. Abbie
Ms. Abbie moved here from New Jersey in 2021 and has been working in our 2-3's room ever since! She loves working with children and watching their personalities grow. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies and simply relaxing at home with her cat, Clover, and her tree frogs.
Mr. Kyle
Mr. Kyle started at Elm Grove Preschool in 2022 and can usually be found in the 3-4s classroom. He is a dad to three young children who all attend Elm Grove Preschool! Mr. Kyle loves music and can be found playing in his band when he's not at school.
Ms. Kayla
Ms. Kayla started working here in spring of 2023 and helps out in our upstairs classrooms and in our school age classroom.
Ms. Kathy
Ms. Kathy has worked at Elm Grove Preschool since the early days and was originally hired by our founder, Mrs. Weigman! During the school year, you'll find her in our 4K class. She loves tying literacy to art projects and has really enjoyed working with the children for all these years.
Ms. Charlie
Ms. Charlie is one of our newest teachers and started working with us in spring of 2024!
Ms. Kyra
Ms. Kyra started working at Elm Grove Preschool in fall of 2023. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2019 with a degree in communications with an emphasis in radio, TV, film, and media. She completed two Disney College programs in Orlando and recently moved back to Wisconsin from Colorado, where she worked at a ski resort and learned how to snowboard. Ms. Kyra works in our toddler room and has a one-year-old son named Walter!
Ms. Ana
Ms. Ana started working at Elm Grove in 2023. She is a student at Mount Mary University and works in our preschool classes during school breaks. She loves listening to music (especially Taylor Swift), hanging out with friends/family. Ms. Ana has enjoyed working with kids over the past few years and can't wait to become a teacher.
Ms. Shalini
Ms. Shalini has been working at Elm Grove Preschool since 2023. You can find her in our Young 2s classroom! Ms. Shalini completed all of her education (up to a master's degree!) in India. She moved to the U.S. with her family in 2015, arriving in Elm Grove in 2019. Before coming to Elm Grove Preschool, Ms. Shalini worked at McKinley Elementary. Her favorite part about working in a preschool is watching the children explore new things. At home, Ms. Shalini likes to bake, cook, and spend time with her family.
